Most people can not tell a fake ring from a real one. Unless one has the help of jeweler or has certain knowledge, most people can’t spot fake #jewelry. Luckly, we have compiled different ways you can spot whether that #necklace your boyfriend gave you as a gift is a real gem.
Use of a magnet
The truth is that fake jewelry contains more iron. Since it is not pure iron it is magnetic in nature. But a genuine jewel with high content of precious metal won’t stick to a magnet.
Use vinegar,
A real gold ring when placed inside a glass of vinegar won’t show any change. A fake #gold ring will automatically turn black inside a glass of vinegar.
Use of tiles
After purchasing your golden ring, and you have reached home, get your jewel out of the bag and try to write something on the tiles, if you see sketchy black marks, it means you have wasted your money on fake gold. But if the process produces no writings on the tiles, it means you have a gold ring in your possession.
